PROCEDURES FOR WEDDINGS AT ST. BONAVENTURE
+ Above all begin here!
+ Do not put a deposit on a reception hall before you contact the parish office. The date you want may be filled or there may be unexpected complications.
+ Arrange marriage through your own parish. Parish-shopping is usually not a good idea
+ Don't be disappointed in your marriage. Make God a big part of your wedding day and of your marriage. "A wedding is a day, a marriage is a life-time."

See Frequently Asked Questions about getting married at St. Bonaventure.

Penance/Reconciliation
For an explanation of this sacrament please see Sacrament of Penance page

Anointing of the Sick

Call the parish any time for one who is seriously ill. Anointing ceremonies are held twice a year at the church. Anointing of the sick was previously known as "Extreme Unction" or "Last Rites". And for that reason people were often hesitant to call the priest. This consoling sacrament is God's gift to those who are ill, elderly or facing serious surgery.

If possible call the priest before an emergency begins. Plan to have the family present if at all possible. It is a healing experience for all!
